Q. How does Merchant Money compute the amount of working capital we can receive?

  • Merchant Money will trend your prior six months of credit card processing statements, we will review your credit history and we take into consideration your specific industry group to determine the amount of funds we will provide. The funds are normally provided in 5 to 7 business days.

    However, if you prefer a tentative offer which does not include us checking your credit, you will need to fax over one of your processing statements. Then, we will prepare a “Snap Shot Offer” for your consideration.

Q. Must I have excellent credit to qualify, like my bank requires?

Q. How is the working capital paid back?

  • Merchant Money deducts a set percentage from your daily credit card sales to pay back the money we have already provided. The amount repaid each month floats with your credit card sales which helps provides your business with flexible cash flow.

Q. Must I change my current merchant account provider?

  • Yes. You must change your credit card processing provider. Merchant Money secures the cash advance provided through your future credit card sales. If your current provider has a cancellation fee, we will reimburse you 50% of the fee; up to $145.00.

Q. Will I need to replace my existing POS System or credit card terminal?

  • No. As long as your point of sale system is Visa/MasterCard compliant, your present POS System should work just fine.

Q. Will I have to pay higher credit card processing fees after I switch to Merchant Money?

  • No. Whenever possible we will match your current processing rates, so there should be no additional fees involved to change.

Q. Can I request an additional Cash Advance?

  • Yes. Once the first cash advance has been paid in full you may request to reload. Seventy-five (75%) of our merchants are so pleased with our service that they elect a second advance.
